Description:
The Walker Wireless Magnetic Door Counter is a battery operated digital counter with a built-in microprocessor controlled radio to wirelessly transmit the count data to a CompuCount server attached to your PC or PC network. The counter attaches to the door, the magnet attaches to the door frame above the counter. When the door is closed, the circuit is closed. When the door opens, the circuit is broken, a count is made and wirelessly transmitted to the CompuCount. At your PC, you can view, print and export the traffic data in half hour, hourly, daily, weekly and monthly formats. This extremely small counter, measures only 1.7” x 3.1” x 0.8” (including mounting flange) and weighs only two ounces.
Operating Instructions
A pushbutton switch in the cover has three functions:
-The Magnetic Door Counter is shipped with the transmitter turned off. Start the counter with a momentarily push of the service switch (you will feel the button click).
-The service switch is also used as an aid to installation, when the service switch is pushed a data transmission occurs immediately and a special mark is introduced in the Status Field of the CompuCount to indicate which sensor is in service or installation.
Push and hold the service switch for 5 seconds or more to turn the counter off.
